“The mind is slow in unlearning what it has been long in learning”[Seneca: Troades 633]


 
 

Because we are creatures of habit, it is very difficult for us to break from our normal patterns. If we have learned something incorrectly than we have to right over that old information with the current, correct information. This will not happen by chance, it will take work.

The process to unlearn something takes twice as long as learning, because of this over righting process.
